If the purpose
of an organization is to survive longer than the span of an individual's lifetime,
to grow and evolve, and move past the circumstances of change, why do so many
organizations fail in this quest? We find it strange when great organizations
that have no reason to fail, do so. When this happens there is not only a loss
of momentum - there is also a loss of hope. What we have noticed in exploring
and applying all of the theories of business management and organizational development
available is the failure of fragmented efforts to integrate into processes that
work.
Within
the complexity of this question is a management mystery that we seek to know the
answer to. This question is our main purpose and reason to be. In
reviewing literally thousands of research papers, management texts, business articles,
hallmark case-studies and specialist conference proceedings we have found the
simple truth that all these theories and approaches are 100% correct ... in part.
Understanding the real scope of the key questions in
business management and what it takes to provide effective
solutions is the reason why we do all of our work using
a perspective
based in the integral,
which is not overt, but underlies everything we do.
It is this approach that makes
our work unique and means the insights and processes that we develop work where
other efforts may fail through no fault of either the practitioner or the client. Our
structure, process and philosophy are centered in the foundations that underlie
this approach, drawing always from the significant work of the pioneers in this
field and all those presently working within it (read
